Dr. Womba Kamuhuza is the Group Managing Director for Meanwood Holdings Limited in Zambia. The group companies span across: insurance, finance, agriculture, property, and construction. She has over 25 years of experience in the private sector - a serial entrepreneur.

Womba has a passion for entrepreneurship and women's empowerment, especially women entrepreneurs' access to opportunities and resources such as finance. Her Doctor of Philosophy Thesis investigates the role of women entrepreneurs in Zambia's development process, and the impact of limited access to bank finance on their businesses and the overall development agenda.

Womba also has a passion for causes that promote women and girls' education and poverty alleviation. Womba holds the following education qualifications: PhD, MBA, LLM, MA, Dip.HR Law, and BA.
